Biogas energy, new practice
Biogas and CBG plant engineering, from feedstock to dispensing. NEW
Process, civil, electrical and approval engineering for biogas and compressed biogas plants, with the drawings the plant needs to get approved and run. Our newest practice, on the same portal and QC as everything else we deliver.

Scope
What is included, and what it comes as.
Fixed deliverables, checked by a second engineer before they reach you. Formats: Process drawings, GA and P&ID in PDF and DWG, SLD, civil drawings, BOQ, approval set.
Process and plant
- Feedstock assessment and gas yield estimate
- Digester sizing and process design
- Plant layout, GA drawings and P&ID
- Gas cleaning and upgrading to CBG
- Storage and dispensing arrangement
- Digestate handling
Civil, electrical and approvals
- Civil and structural for digesters and tanks
- Electrical SLD for CHP, gensets and plant loads
- Instrumentation and control schematic
- Hazardous-area classification and safety layout
- Statutory approval drawings
- BOQ
Who this is for
Developers and EPCs setting up biogas or CBG plants on agricultural, municipal or industrial feedstock who need an engineering partner for the process, civil and electrical sets and the approval drawings.
What it changes
The digester is sized for the feedstock you actually have, the layout respects the safety distances, and the approval drawings are ready when the authority asks.
How it runs
6 steps from project creation to delivery.
Every project is created on the client portal, owned by a named engineer and checked by our AQC team before issue. You can see its status at any time.
Project created on the portal
Feedstock data, site plan and target output uploaded.
Feedstock and yield
Gas yield estimate and mass balance from the feedstock mix.
Process design
Digester sizing, process flow, P&ID and GA layout.
Civil, electrical and safety
Tank structures, SLD, instrumentation, hazardous-area layout.
Approvals and BOQ
Statutory approval drawings and plant BOQ.
QC and delivery
AQC review; drawings and reports on the portal.
The inputs that start the clock
Upload these with the project and the clock starts the moment it is created. Missing inputs are the most common reason a turnaround slips.
- Feedstock type, quantity per day and seasonal variation
- Feedstock analysis if available: total solids, volatile solids
- Site plan with boundary, access and utilities
- Target output: CBG, power, or both
- Grid connection and water availability
- Any technology provider already selected
Price depends on plant size, feedstock complexity, whether upgrading to CBG is included, and the approval scope. Agreed upfront.
FAQ
Questions clients ask about this service.
If yours is not here, ask it on WhatsApp and you will have an answer the same day.
Is biogas a new practice for Eden?
Yes. Biogas and wind are our two newest practices, staffed by the same engineering team and run through the same portal and QC as our solar work.
Do you design CBG plants or only raw biogas?
Both. Gas cleaning and upgrading to CBG, with storage and dispensing, is part of the scope when the project needs it.
Can you work with a technology provider's digester design?
Yes. We integrate the provider's package into the plant layout, civil, electrical and approval sets.
Which approvals do you prepare drawings for?
Statutory approvals for gas storage, electrical and plant layout. Tell us the authorities for your state and the set is prepared to their format.
