Solar PV engineering
Utility-scale ground-mount design, from RFQ review to issued EPC drawings.
Complete, execution-ready engineering for utility-scale and large commercial plants, tuned for land use, generation and construction efficiency. Seven steps from project creation to drawings and BOQ on the portal.

Scope
What is included, and what it comes as.
Fixed deliverables, checked by a second engineer before they reach you. Formats: PDF and DWG drawing sets, PVsyst report, BOQ in Excel, STAAD report on request.
Scope
- Site and RFQ review
- Tilt and pitch optimisation
- Energy generation report
- MMS and structural engineering
- Foundation and civil drawings
- DC stringing and inverter placement
- Trench routing, cable sizing and SLD
- Detailed BOQ and approval drawings
Three levers on every layout
- Land: row pitch and block layout tuned to the plot shape
- Yield: tilt, shading and losses balanced for annual output
- Cost: structure and cable design kept build-efficient
- Optional STAAD structural report for the MMS
Who this is for
EPCs bidding or executing ground-mount plants from a few MW upward, and developers who need an independent engineering set to tender or to check a contractor's design.
What it changes
A layout that fits the plot, a structure that passes review and a BOQ the site team can order from. Fewer revisions on site, which is where the money is lost.
How it runs
7 steps from project creation to delivery.
Every project is created on the client portal, owned by a named engineer and checked by our AQC team before issue. You can see its status at any time.
Project created on the portal
RFQ, site details and inputs uploaded.
Data review and clarification
Inputs verified, gaps requested.
Layout and shading simulation
Row spacing and generation modelling.
Civil and structural modelling
Foundations, MMS and wind loads.
Electrical engineering
Strings, inverters, trenches, SLD.
Internal QC review
Multi-level AQC check.
Final deliverables issued
Drawings and BOQ on the portal.
The inputs that start the clock
Upload these with the project and the clock starts the moment it is created. Missing inputs are the most common reason a turnaround slips.
- Plot boundary with coordinates, contour or survey data
- Geotechnical report if available
- Target capacity, module and inverter preference
- Grid connection point, voltage and distance
- Wind zone and soil data for the structure
- Any RFQ or tender specification the design must follow
Price is set by plant capacity, the depth of civil and structural work, and whether a STAAD report and approval drawings are included. Agreed before work starts, no hidden costs.
FAQ
Questions clients ask about this service.
If yours is not here, ask it on WhatsApp and you will have an answer the same day.
What capacity range do you cover?
From large commercial plants in the hundreds of kW to multi-MW utility-scale sites. The same seven-step workflow runs for both.
Do you design the mounting structure or only the layout?
Both. MMS and structural engineering, foundation and civil drawings are part of the scope, with a STAAD report when the client or lender asks for one.
Can you work to our tender specification?
Yes. Upload the RFQ or specification with the project and the design is checked against it before issue.
What about approvals?
CEIG approval drawings for India are produced from the same model; see the CEIG page. For the US, permit sets and PE stamps are handled by our approvals team.
